Blog Update Sunday September 25th

The last two weeks have been really busy with work, family and life in general. I did get some stitching done as well. I volunteer in the Creative Arts Department at our Fort Bend County Fair and it started on Sept 24 and will go until Oct. 2. We had check in and judging Wed and Thursday before the fair opened. Here are my pictures. I won 7 blue ribbons and 5 red ribbons(cross stitch, holiday, arts and crafts and antique, a good year for me. I entered my Mother's Bible which was given to her by my Father for her birthday in 1944. She passed away in 2005 at the age of 87.

Here is the WIPs I have made progress on the last two weeks.
     “July” Calendar Girl Series-Littlehouse Needleworks
“Texas Cowboy Boot”–The 12 Days of Texas Christmas Series -Redbird Designs.

“Main Street Station” #2 Hometown Holiday Series-Little House Needworks

March House Finch The Button Up Birdies #3- by Cathy Jean-The Victoria Sampler
ready to finish into a pillow ornament and add to my wreath.
This picture was in our Local paper, The Fort Bend Herald.
I won a blue ribbon on it.
“Beth  March” from Little Women-Brookes Books
This is called Christmas Candy by Sue Hillis. This is a PIF pattern that I have received and will PIF to someone next week.
Also, enjoyed an evening with my Beta Sigma Phil sisters.

Hope you have enjoyed this weeks blog as I have enjoyed sharing it with you.

Congratulations on winning ribbons at your fair and getting your photo in the local paper. You might have busy but it's great that you continue to make progress on your stitching.
