2014 Last update

As 2014 comes to a end, we look back on our year, both good and sad times. I turned  74 last January and thankful for my good health. I am so thankful for my daughter and grandson and granddaughter. They are my most treasured assets. Also glad to have other family and many friends in my life. I had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my daughter and grandkids. It is fun to watch them open their gifts even at 20 and 14. Then Christmas afternoon, my daughter hosted the family Christmas. Fun, Food, and gifts were enjoyed by my brother in law and his friend, my niece and great niece, nephew and his wife and her two boys and my grandson's girlfriend.  It was fun to see all open and admire the ornaments I had stitched for them. Friday and Saturday I stitched as our weather turned rainy and cold and it was time to stay inside. Here are the WIPs I stitched on this past week. Also a few family pictures.

Weekly Update

The holiday season was started. I love the Christmas season and what it stands for. My first occasion for the season was a Holiday Tea last Saturday afternoon. I was part of the committee that hosted it and it was attended by 46 wonderful friends. It was held in the home of one of our members. I am a member of Beta Sigma Phi, an international friendship sorority. Lots of friendship, food, and visiting.
Then Sunday, I went to Edna, TX to watch my granddaughter ride and compete in the monthly Texas High School rodeo. She is so much fun to watch.
