Weekly Update

Another week of stitching, with our weather beginning to cool somewhat. It has been in the high 50s in the morning and then 80 during the day. Sat was a day to open windows and air the house out.
Here is the progress of stitching for the past week.
I am also working on several exchange ornaments.
This the the begining of a piece called Red Birds-Nov/Dec issue of Just Cross Stitch. It is going to be stitched on 28ct Light Mocha Cashel linen from Zweigart. As I collect Cardinals, I had to do this one.
Wish me luck as I am a beginner on 28 ct. I have found the center and put in a few stitches.

Weekly Update

Another busy week at week, so I relaxed in the evening with my stitching and seem to get extra stitching in this week. Here is the progress of what I stitched on the week. Also, received the Nov/Dec Just Crossstitch magazine and fell in love with the Christmas Cardinal Design. I collect anything to do with Cardinals, so of course I just have to stitch it. I got the fabric on Saturday and pulled all the dmc floss this morning. Now to work it in with my other rotation pieces and exchange ornaments I am working on. I also received my first package this month as the Friendly Stitcher group's October Calendar Girl. I will picture my stash when I received all of the packages.
A few letters done on page 4 of The Alphabet Sampler Book-With My Needle
I have now completed 2 lines and have started stitching the 3rd line on The ABCs of Aging Artfully-Lizzie Kate.
I have made progess on The Pumpkin Patch Kitchen Towel and almost finished the last of the pumpkins and then only need to backstitch.
I have completed the first 3 letters of The Stitcher's Alphabet-Brooks. The letters are fun to stitch

I stitched a little on a thanksgiving wreath and finished the other Thanksgiving ornament.
I have completed the top of The Old West-LHN, now to page 2. My goal is to finish it by Thanksgiving or before.
