Update on WIPs week of July 12-18th

I am a little behind in posting my progress on WIPs and my two completed pieces. With my move, getting settled, working and life in general, I have still found time to relax by stitching.

I love the cube finish and  Vonna has the tutorial for the cube on The Little House Needleworks web site.
I found this Christmas Fabric on a clearance rack a couple of years ago and hope I can find some more of it. I will be using it to back my village cubes.

Blog Update

I am a little behind in posting last weeks progress on WIPs. I moved from my apartment to my daughters for a while. I have put my furniture and stuff in storage. I applied to move to a new senior Apartment complex but didn't qualify, no much income and assets. It appears that they only want senior with little or no income. Oh, well, I will just take one day at a time and see what comes up.
I did get a little stitching done on my WIPs while I was packing. I took breaks and stitched.
“April” Calendar Girl Series-Littlehouse Needleworks

1.     “Sleepy Kittens” – Sunset Kit-finishing stitching for Cheryl
“Remember The Alamo”–The 12 Days of Texas Christmas Series -Redbird Designs.

  1.     Snowman and Friends Christmas Stocking – Gold Collection Kit

  1.     “Sweet Shop” #4 Hometown Holiday Series-Little House Needleworks
I have finished stitching it now to make it into a cube.

  1.     Texas Signs of Spring #2 – Redbird Designs

 "The Library" Little House Needleworks
I stitched this for my niece, who is a junior high school librarian. She has had it framed and will hang it in school library office next to "The Bookshelf:, I stitched for her earlier.

My break is over. Now to organize my new space some more.
Have a good week

Happy 4th of July Weekend and update on stiching

Enjoyed watching the fireworks on TV. They were pretty. Went with my daughter Sat. morning to watch my granddaughter compete in a Barrel 5D Jackpot competition  in Brenham, TX. It is always fun to watch her ride. Then on Saturday afternoon I watched my Houston Astros baseball game, then the Belmont Horse Race and then some Tennis. Of course I stitched as well while watching the sports. I made progress on several of my WIPs. Here they are
