Weekly Updated blog

Another week has passed and Summer is here. Texas is hot. My daughter gave me grandson, Christopher a Graduation party on Saturday. With 25+ guests, a fun time was had by all. I have to share a picture of the table, my daughter, sat up. She is one proud Mother. Also, I am also a very proud Grandmother. I did finish stitched and framed my Fireman picture for his gift. My picture is not very good, got the glass glare, but you can see it anyway. He was proud of it.

I also finished stitched and made into a pillow ornament a Thanksgiving Wreath. It will go with another Thanksgiving one I stitched in 2011. I finished them with the blanket stitch, not very good at it, but I like them and they are for me.
They are from Holidays All Year-by Dimensions

Weekly stitching update

What a nice day. My Grandaughter, Anna was confirmed in church(Faith United Methodist) this morning with 22 other young people. What a nice church service.
I have been stitching a lot on my main project this week. I am stitching Fireman-Heinzeit for my grandson, Christopher, graduation gift. His Mother is giving him a party next Saturday night and my goal is to have it finished by then. I am almost finished with the letter and only have a little border left to stitch. Then I will add the charms and frame it in the black frame that I have under it.
I also finished stitching the letter D on The Stitchers Alphaet-Brooks Book. I am stitching the letters on an afghan.

Here are other WIPs I stitched on this week.

Weekly Updated blog

I enjoyed the SEUSSICAL Musical proformed by the Briscoe Junior High School Theatre Arts students Friday and Saturday evening. My Granddaughter, Anna, was one of the Jungle Creatures. She did great and this was her first stage musical other than church. I think it is great that we have some many talented 7th and 8th kids. I had a nice Mother's Day. Had lunch with my daughter and granddaughter. Christopher, the grandson, was enjoyed a Senior prom and weekend in Galveston with friends. It is still hard to think he is graduating June 1st from high school. Here is another picture from the FFA Banquet.
I started an ornament this past week for the Friendly Stitchers group. I will picture it after she has received it. I made progress on the following WIPs:

Weekly Update of WIP stitching and family

What a nice day. The high school seniors(my grandson included), 21 in all, was honored at church. Faith United Methodist) this morning. Then lunch was furnished for the seniors and their familiers. A slide show of all the senoris was showed and enjoyed by all after lunch. Our youth director has been at our church since 2000, so of course the senior are special to her. Of course, I have to show a couple of pictures.

I had a good week of stitching also. Here are the WIPs and the new one I started.
