Update at the end of July

Good morning everyone. Hope you are staying cool and dry. It is still in the 90s daily with a few rain showers in the afternoon. It has been a good time for me to stay inside and stitch and craft.
I finished a couple of items and made progress on other WIPs in my rotation. Here there are:
September  “Here Comes Fall” 2014 Doodle – Blueladie Designs
These are a few of the ones I have made into greeting. As I need a card I put a saying and a small bow on it and a verse inside and it is ready to mail
“Christmas Angel“ #4  Heavenly Host set-(4)-Joan Elliott The Utimate Cross Stitch Collection 2011
I now the set of 4 stitched and plan to use them for Christmas cards this year.

I saw a neat way to display ornaments and have give it a try with
The Button Up Birdies by Cathy Jean-The Victoria Sampler
They are: November Chickadee, January Tree Sparrow, December Cardinal,
Robin(in JCS ornament issue 2010) and February Whiskey Jack
I have room for a few more. I  have started stitching the next one.
June ”Wild Roses”  Flower Of The Month series– Ellen Maurer Stroh-
I have started stitching the borders and can see the finish line.
What pretty colors for this one.
 July Cowboy Snowman- Snowman Series–Vermillion-
Stitching on the hat and it will be stitched.

This is a small hand towel that I am stitching a row of colorful flowers on.
This is one of the pieces for my friends fall bazaar.
“Hot Cocoa” Ornament -#7   2012 Ornament Series-Littlehouse Needleworks

       October  Weather Poems-Sue Cook-Britian’s #1 Crossstitch Magazine-2000 issues

On my way to see "Wicked" at Hobby Center, Houston TX with my niece. She gave me a ticket for a Christmas gift last Christmas. Looking forward to it.
Stay cool and see you next week.

I just love the Angels Joyce! The way you are displaying your stitching on the wreath and down the road I may borrow that idea! All your stitching is great. I seriously need to get more organized like you so I can get more accomplished!!

Gorgeous stitching, Joyce!
I just love all of your little finishes.
I can't wait to see the Joan Elliott collection finished into cards. I adore your idea for Button Up Birdies and can't wait to see the finished into the wreath.
Have a great day
Hugs

Lovely stitching. It's a good idea to build up a bank of cards.
