Blog update

Good morning all.
We are having a short cold front this week. It is in the low 30s but feel much colder here in SE Texas. It is suppose to go up to the 70s by tomorrow, only in Texas.
My busy season has started at work, as I work for a CPA and it is tax time. I have been tired and have not gotten as much stitching done on my WIPs as I would have liked. But, I always say any number of stitches is progress, right.
I did go with my daughter to Alvin, TX on Friday night and watched my granddaughter ride and compete in the YRA youth rodeo. She did really good this week. She placed 8th in pole bending and 11th in barrels. Always love watching her ride. I also enjoyed my Beta Sigma Phi Boots and Bling Valentine Ball on Saturday night. A number of us stay at the hotel on Saturday night after the ball and enjoy breakfast together before going home. The ball started off with a before party, then a cowboy vittles meal, dancing, and an after party. What fun.
Here are my pictures of the WIPs I stitched on this past week and a few from the dance.
