Weekly Update

Good morning all. The weather here in my part of Texas has finally turned to Fall. This morning it is in the low 50s and only warmer up to the low 80s today. Great Weather! I have pictures of my ribbons and rosette won at our Fort Bend County Fair this past week. I am so excited about the rosette as I have entered my crossstitching for many years, but never have won a rosette. I also made progress on my WIPs.
I borrowed some of my stitching that were gifts to my daughter, granddaughter and grandson this past year and entered them. The ornaments will be Christmas gifts as my family and friends are expecting them
I have enjoyed stitching the Alphabet Samplings Book-With My Needle.
I did send pictures to Ellen Chester and had an email back from her. This was so neat to hear back from a designer.

I also entered some of the handmade cards I have made this year.

As you can tell, I am so excited about the Rosette.
I also stitched the panels in the center of my
Garden of Joy-SAL with the Friendly Stitchers Group.
I have 31 of 52 squares stitched.

The Library-Littlehouse Needleworks
The four panels are stitched. Now to finish the bricks and the bottom border.

Baked Goods ornament-#7 211 series-Littlehouse Needleworks

The Halloween House-Ursula Michaels
Linda and Debbie and a couple of others have finished their pieces.
I have the cobweb border to do and I am finished.
It has been fun to stitched with others.

Texas Friends ornament-RedBird Designs

Redbirds-Marie Barber-JCS nov/dec 2011
The female cardinal is stitched, now stitching on leaves, berries and flowers before getting to the male cardinal.

Have a great week.

Beautiful work, Joyce! Congratulations on the ribbons and the rosette.

We're enjoying that cooler weather here too. We drove up to Houston for the Greek festival yesterday. Perfect day!

If only the cool temps would stay!
