The Most wonderful Seaon of The Year and blog Update.

Here we are in the most wonderful Season of the Year. Thanksgiving was enjoyed and now we are in the Christmas season. I have been busy making gifts and Christmas Cards. I discovered and have stitched the Sue Hillis Christmas in Red/Christmas Rides and Christmas Sweets sled ornaments for most of my gifts this year. My family and friends tell me they enjoy getting my gifts.

I also finished 2 small pillow ornaments for gifts as well
Season of Love” Ornament -#11  2012 Ornament Series-Littlehouse Needleworks

1.     “Gingerbread Cookie” Ornament -#10  2012 Ornament Series-Littlehouse Needleworks
I also make monthly calendars that fit in a small 3 x 5 plastic stand up frame. I was given on a few years ago and now make you for gifts. Every year starting around September, I am asked; Are you making our calendars again this year". I will make 18 to 20 sets this year. I have won a blue ribbon  on them at at Fort Bend County Fair in 2015
I also enjoy sending and receiving Christmas Cards. The ones that I send are my own creations. I enjoy recycling past years cards. I have made 24 so far this year and still have 16 to go.

I have even stitched a little of my rotation of stitching projects since last month.

Your sleds are beautiful!

Tell me more about how you make your recycled cards. I've been saving the fronts of cards I've received in hopes of doing something with them. I'd love to hear your ideas.

All of your sleds look fabulous! I like making them too, but they don't look as nice as yours. The pillows are sweet too.
What a great idea for a calendar, and yay on winning a ribbon for it!
I like to recycle cards too, but just never seem to get them out.
Your wips look great, I especially like your baseball snowman.

I recycle cards and use them for all kinds of projects.
Your pillow is adorable.
