October blog update

Fall cooler weather had arrived in Texas. Our temp have been in the 50s and 60s in night and only in the 80s during the day. We are cheering on our Houston Astros and hoping we see them in the World Series of Baseball. Our Fort Bend County Fair is in the books for 2017. I enjoy another year of volunteering in the Creative Arts Departments. I also entered in several of the divisions. I won a Rosetter(outstanding) ribbon on my stitched handmade greeting cards, 2 blue ribbons in the Holiday division and 3 blue and 1 red ribbon in cross stitching.

I have been stitching on my rotation of 15 projects and have finished another of the 12 Days of A Texas Christmas Series, the“Texas Coral(IndianPaintBrush)Flower” by Redbird Designs. Now to make it into an ornament.
Here are the others I stitched on:

     “O” Overdye - Stitcher’s  Alphabet – Brookes Books
Red White and Blue July Doodle 2015– Blueladie Designs

Congratulations on doing so well at the fair. Lots of beautiful stitching in the works. I'm rooting for the Yankees but have become a fan of Jose Altuve! I love players that give it their all. Mary

Your projects are amazing! The baseball snowman looks like so much fun. Can't wait to see that finish.
