Happy Holidays and updated blog.

Our weather here in SE Texas is due for a freeze by the end of the week. It is to be 70 degrees this afternoon. making it a great time to do a little Christmas Shopping. Since I stitch and make most of my gifts, I need to do only a little shopping, yea. I have taken part in a few ornament exchange this year and has sent and received great ornaments. One of them was an unfinished ornament exchange. You sent a stitched ornament and the backing fabric let you partner finish it. What fun. I received a very pretty ornament from my exchange partner, Mary and finished it like this:

I then gifted it to a friend that quilts, who was thrilled to receive it.

This is the Fall ornament that I sent to Mary and the finished ornament by Mary. The design is by Blueladie Designs.
Then in another exchange, my partner Deb received the Snow Cold ornament by LittleHouse Needleworks and the extra goodies.

I received the cutest bear santa ornament, tea light ornament and great goodies from Deb.
One more ornament exchange to come and so I will show it next time.
I finished stitching all four of the Little Women Series by Brookes Books and have given them to my niece. She is having the last two framed now. Picture of framed pieces to come.
I finished two more sled, now a total of 8 for gifts.

I have four more ornaments for gifts that I am stitching on now.
