Blog update with finishes

The two weeks has passed in a hurry it seems. Fall is trying to arrive here in Southeast Texas. We have had temperatures in the 50s at night and 80s during the day. I am slowing down at work as the major tax season is over for this year. Life for me, which includes my family, friends, and work seem to get in the way of my stitching the last two weeks. I have managed to finish a couple of things that I had completed stitching.
Saturday was a fun day for me as I went to Bastrop, TX to watch my granddaughter ride in the monthly YRA rodeo. It is always fun and Saturday, one of my cousins joined us to watch Anna ride.
Here she is getting ready to ride and compete. She had a good day, finishing 7th in pole bending and 12th in barrels.

These are from her last rodeo. She came in 4th.

Here are my completed cross stitch and the progress on a few of my WIPs
     Raindeer Sled ornament-Foxwood Crossings
Now I have 3 completed for Christmas Gifts.
March House Finch The Button Up Birdies #3- by Cathy Jean-The Victoria Sampler
This one will now be added to my wreath of other birds from this series.

This ornament has been done for my friend's Church Fall Bazaar.

“It is Snow Cold” Ornament -#8  2012 Ornament Series-Littlehouse Needleworks

Have a great week and enjoy whatever life throws your way.
