Blog Update with stitching progress and youth rodeo news.

I made progress on several WIPs and completed some. I have also entered my Redbirds by Marie Barber in the Texas State Fair held in Dallas Texas. You enter it in August and then judging begins the week of Aug 15. You are then told if you received a ribbon and made the fair exhibit. If you don't, then it comes back to you and not displayed at the fair. Wish me luck.  I made a wreath using the Texas ornaments by Redbird designs and donated it to the Fort Bend County Youth Rodeo for the silent auction this past weekend. My granddaughter, Anna, is part of this group. She competed in the Queen completion and got 3rd runner up. Then she made the finals and got 3rd in pole bending. A great weekend for her. I am one proud Grandmother as well as MOM.
