June Blog Update

At last the Brazos River here in Fort Bend County, Texas is going down. The highest was 54.81 and it is now down to 52.19ft. Flood stage is 45ft, so you can see way we have had so many flooded roads and neighborhoods. My neighborhood levy has held and we have not had any street or area flooding, thank goodness. Here is our main bridge over the Brazos River now and what it usually looks like.
Thanks for all the nice words, prayers, and concerns.
Since, I stayed in a lot, I have been stitching away. I have stitched on several of my 15 rotation this last couple of weeks, yea. Here is the progress on my WIPs;
Snowman and Friends Christmas Stocking – Gold Collection Kit
               A kit is not my favorite to stitch, but I put a few stitches each time it comes up in my rotation and I will finish it someday.

This is being stitched on an afghan. I am down to a little white background and then the beading.
