Weekly stitching update

What a nice day. My Grandaughter, Anna was confirmed in church(Faith United Methodist) this morning with 22 other young people. What a nice church service.
I have been stitching a lot on my main project this week. I am stitching Fireman-Heinzeit for my grandson, Christopher, graduation gift. His Mother is giving him a party next Saturday night and my goal is to have it finished by then. I am almost finished with the letter and only have a little border left to stitch. Then I will add the charms and frame it in the black frame that I have under it.
I also finished stitching the letter D on The Stitchers Alphaet-Brooks Book. I am stitching the letters on an afghan.

Here are other WIPs I stitched on this week.
The Alphabet Sampler Book-With My Needle
Page 13/16
Snowman and Friends Christmas Stocking-Gold Collection Kit

Gingerbread Village ornament-#4 2011 series
LittleHouse Needleworks

The Halloween House-Ursula Michaels
SAL with Linda at http://bengelcatlover10.blogspot.com and others
I have a ghost ready to backstitch which you can just see a little.

Red Birds-Marie Barber
JCS nov/dec 2011
I have started the redbird on the left just above the red/white flower.

I am also stitched on two ornaments for exchanges this month.
Have a great week and see you next week.

Your updates are always great, Joyce! I love the idea of the Stitching Alphabet on a quilt. I have all those designs saved for the future. Your Alphabet Sampler Book is coming close to a finish with just a few more pages to go! Halloween House looks so nice! I haven't started any tombstones yet. I'm looking forward to seeing the pretty red birds with the flowers!
