This is my first post of 2013 of my progress for the new year of WIPs . Also stitching a Valentine ornament for an exchange in the Friendly Stitches group.
I had a great birthday on the 11th. My daughter cooked homemade Lasagna for me. I had a wonderful evening with my daughter, Deanna and Grandson, Christopher and Granddaughter, Anna.
It is so nice to turn 73 and be in good health.

Happy Birthday, Joyce! Lasagna is my favorite! Your stitching is incredible and I'm looking forward to stitching as much as you do when I'm your age, too!
A belated happy birthday Joyce and what a nice way to spend your birthday with your nearest and dearest.
I love your WIPs! Haunted House looks amazing and I love the Snowman and Friends Christmas Stocking.
Joyce,
Thanks so much for coming by my blog! I LOVE YOUR STITCHERY! You have done so much this year... wish I could say I ahd done so much stitchery...I am going on a trip to a sister's reunion and I plan to take my stitchery bag to work on a project that I have had partially done for...oh, I don't even want to count the years. lets just say, I got the pattern and the frame for it in 1989....I don't remember when I started stitching it, but I like to personalize things and it gets me into trouble when it comes to finishing. My hubby aske me to make something for him and it was the first REALLY BAD Mess up I have ever had....and I have had some bad ones....but there was no fixing this one..He asked for it becasue most of the projects I have stitched were given as gifts to family and friends.
Oh, I am so happy you are still stitching...I have to use magnifying glasses now, but I have many things I'd like to do still...you've inspired me to poast about it! See you on my blog and will visit yours as well! Hugs to you Joyce, Happy Late Birthday!
Betsy
