Updated blog

Good morning to all my stitching and crafting friends. It has been two weeks since my surgery on my toes. I stayed at my daughter's for the first 11 days as I could not put any weight on my foot. I have the best daughter and two grandkids in the world. They were so good to help me as I needed to be helped to the bathroom and everything brought to me. They saw that I had what stitching I wanted next as they love to watch my rotation pieces. I did go back to the doctor on the 19th. and he put a cast on it for the next 3 weeks. I can now put weight on the heel and get around a little. I am back at home and went back to work on Thurs. No driving, but my grandson is great to take me to work and back home. The doctor said the toes were worse than he thought, but he feels good about the surgery.
Now on to my stitching, I did finish an ornament for an exchange and will picture it next week after, my exchange partner gets it. I also finished the ABCS of Aging, Lizzie Kate and it is on the way to be framed. Also, finished the Season of Growth, Summer _Littlehouse Needleworks and the first 8 pages of The Alphebet Samplings Books-With My Needle. Now to get the pillow completed and the ornament finished. Here are pictures of my completed and WIPs progress.

Beautiful stitching!

I hope the remainder of your recovery goes well. I can't even imagine how hot a cast is as hot as it is here now.

Happy to hear your surgery went well and you are able to get around some. You have a wonderful family! Atleast you had time for stitching, to make up for tx seasonal work. Happy stitching and healing, Deb
