Weekly Update

First I want to say Thank You to all of you that have commented on my blog. You inspire me so much. Crossstitching has become my favorite hobby and I do enjoy turning the different designs into my own pictures, ornaments and whateven. I am still unpacking, but getting there. Not going at a real fast pace, just a little each day. My daughter is coming over this afternoon and will hang pictures for me. My sunroom(craft/computer room) is coming along great. It has three large windows across the back and it is wonderful. My stitching is still in rotation that I started the first of Jan with the challange, with a few new ones included. Here are pictures of my WIP's for the week.
I joined the Lizzie*Kate stitch along on Monday. I am stitching on the ABCs of Aging Artfully. It is so delightful.
I had started stitching on another Christmas Card, but it is somewhere in a box, so I started another one. I have 12 Christmas Cards completed for 2011.
I have now stitched the border of the third panel of The Library. I have just the spot to hang it in my new apartment.
This is the last one to stitch in the 2010 ornament series by LittleHouse. I love all of them.
I stitched a few more stitches on the phasant of The Christmas animals by Heaven and Earth. After starting over for the third time, I am now happy with the way it it looking. This is the first page of many.
I am enjoying stitching The Old West by Littlehouse. I think it is coming along great.
Also, I have won the traveling Stash Box. This is a box that is rotating among stitches. When you receive it you take what you like and refill the box with other stash. The next person that will get it will be someone that comments on my blog that they would like to have. I will post that I have received once I get it. Linda stated that she has sent it to me.
Have a wonderful week and lots of stitching time.

Your projects are beautiful. Can't wait to see them grow. Good Luck with the unpacking. That part to me is worse than the actual packing for a move.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Hi Joyce,
Love you stitching!! I just became a follower last night when I found you mentioned in another blog. Your stitching is beautiful. I look forward to seeing your progress. Glad you are to get the traveling stash box. Would love to be considered for it also. I know I have items that I could put in there.

I always liked the LHN ornaments too, and the one you are working on now was my favorite of 2010's. It's fun to work on a project that you know exactly the perfect place to hang it. It adds a little more joy in the stitching.

I love watching your progress! The LK one is one of my favorites. I need to add that to my wish list. So glad that you are getting settled. And, yay, that you won the stash box! I'll bet there are lots of new things in there since I started it. How fun!

Congratulations on getting the Traveling Stash box! I had it a little while ago and sent it to Linda.

I'm looking forward to watching your HAED Christmas Animals. I have that chart too and want to stitch it some day. (3 starts?) Whew! I will have to be extra careful! I hate to start anything over.
