Weekly Update

Good morning all. We are still having it hot and dry here in Texas. Hopefully, we will have an early fall with much coolerweather. Even with work, packing for my move this comming weekend, FFA progress shows and a Memorial service for a very dear friend. After a two year battle of cancer, Gwen is now at peace and not hurting. Here are pictures of my progress of a few stitches this past week.

I am now on Page 4 of the Alphabet Sampler Book by With My Needle. Have completed the letter M, only need the vines on it. My first piece of linen, 18 ct and I am enjoying it.
Finished letter b on Lizzie Kate's ABCs of Aging Artfully. I am stitching on Mondays along with other Lizzie Kate stitchers.
Finished stitching the border on the third panel on the Library by Littlehouse Needleworks. This is a favorite of mine.
Stitching on the All is Calm ornament. This is the last one to be stitched in the 2010 Littlehouse series of ornaments. Loved all of them and have given a number of the ornaments as gifts.
My pheasant's tail is stitched and I am on the body of Christmas animals by Heaven and Earth.
This is another of my favories, February Violets-Flowers of the Month by EMS. The colors are so pretty.
A little more stitched on The Old West by Littlehouse Needleworks. I see myself stitching this again.
I am also stitching my ornament for my next Aug-Oct exchange.
Happy stitching this week and may your life be everything you wish it to be.

Good grief, Joyce, so you must be packing with your other hand while the stitching one still keeps going! Hope all goes well with the move, just remember to keep the kettle or the coffee pot in a reachable place for when you need to sit down for a rest! So sorry about Gwen, hugs to her family.

My goodness your stitching is fabulous. I love all the pieces your are working on. Especially the LK and Little House pieces. My favorite designers. :)
Good luck with the move too.

Sounds like you have been busy Joyce. So sorry to hear about your friend. I hope it makes it easier for you to know she's no longer in pain. All your stitching looks great, as usual. I don't know how you do it all!!

First, I would like to express my sympathy at the passing of your good friend. I hope that it is comforting to know that she is no longer in pain and even though she is gone you can continue to celebrate her life!
