My daughter, Deanna turned 40 on Saturday April 16. I helped host a party for her at her home. I had her cake done with a picture of her at 6 months. It turned out great. I also stitched LHN Spring, Season of Hope and made a pillow of homespun fabric for it. She loved it and of course wants the other three. We had approx 45 friends and family attending and it was fun. She lives in Richmond, TX. In the picture with me and her are my brother in law and niece.
My sister and Deanna's special aunt passed away last May and is missed a lot.
I also managed to keep my rotation of WIP's going the past week even with work and party planning. I put a few stitchers in The Alphabet Sampler book With My Needle, Pumpkins on a kitchen towel, completed a 4th of July and an Easter Cross to go with the other holiday ornaments that are complete. The Easter Cross will become a greeting card. Also Vermillion Dec Snowman, August Weatherpoem, Noel 2009 SAL(which I am putting on a table runner and a few stitches on a Best Wishes Greeting card.
