Weekly Update

Summer is here in Southwest Texas. It has been in the 90s each day with thunder showers popping up here and there in the afternoons. My week has been good with my daughter and grandkids coming for dinner Thursday evening. I enjoy cooking in the crock pot and all I have to do is see, dinner's ready and they are here. My granddaughter had another great night of riding in the Youth Rodeo summer series. She is improving each week. Here are a couple of pictures from this past Monday night.

Also, our monthly stitch in on Saturday morning with 10 stitchers. We enjoy getting together once a month, with one of the ladies hosting it at her home.
This is my progress on some of my WIPs for the past week;
1.     Red Birds-Marie Barber-Just Cross Stitch Magazine Nov/Dec Issue 2011

1.     “Summer Water” Greeting Card- Blueladie Designs –
1.     “Christmas Angels“ #2 Heavenly Host” Collection(4)-Joan Elliott
 April “Sweet Pea” Flower Of The Month series – Ellen Maurer Stroh
 June-Graduation Snowman- Snowman Series – Vermillion
  1.     Joy and Peace-#9 2011 Ornament series - LittleHouse Needleworks
1.     June  Weather Poems-Britian’s #1 Crossstitch Magazine
Have a great week and enjoy whatever life throws your way including a lot stitching

Ah, the crockpot! Best invention ever, IMO! Good looking horse your granddaughter has. Your progress and starts are looking good as usual. I'm planning on starting the LHN ornament soon myself.

Wonderful progress as always Joyce.
Your granddaughter looks great. I am almost done with the Bothy Threads cut thru Stable. Are you interested in buying the chart?

Your granddaughter looks great in her competition! I love the crockpot too - the best invention they ever made for cooking dinner :)

Your stitching looks great and I just love that little card you made.
