Weekly Update

What a busy week, it seems as if it was just yesterday and here it is the beginning of a new week.
My daughter was out of town for business, so spent the evenings housesitting and being a taxi for my granddaughter. She was enjoying the last week of summer, as she starts the 8th grade on Monday.
She will be busy as she will continue her ridings, but will also go out for volleyball and will be part of Theater arts this year. She is also an "A" student. Christopher my grown grandson will start Fire Academy on Monday. Enjoy your children and grandchildren as they grow up so fast.
I did get the poem backstitched, framed and presented it to our Women of the year in our sorority (Beta Sigma Phi) chapter this past year. We had our beginning day with a luncheon on Saturday, that was fun. We don't meet over the summer, so now a new year is beginning. Here is a picture of me giving the poem, which was liked it seemed. Also, tried to get a close-up picture, but it did not turn out very well, but maybe you can get the idea anyway. We had a group picture made, since all of us were there.

Also, made progress on my WIPS this past week and started another ornament.

Great progress on everything Joyce. Have fun with the border on HH. It took me quite a while to do, but it was fun to stitch.
