Weekly update of WIP stitchery.

What a week, full of happiness and sadness. First, I attended Christopher's(grandson) FFA Banquet on Thursday evening. It was very nice and the seniors were awarded scholarships. Christopher will use his as he is going to fire academy at Lone Star College, Cypress, TX. He has become a great young man.
Then last sunday I watched Anna ride a new horse in competition and did really well at the barrells and poles. Se is becoming quite the young cowgirl.

Then for the sadness, another classmate and friend, Jere Nell Kubala Claghorn, lost the battle with cancer. This brings our number to 31 from our high school class of '58. Also, I am on my way to Hutto for the service of a dear and close cousin in law. We cousins in my Mothers family have grown up together and have stayed close.
Today is a fun day althought, will be attending a Founders Day Luncheon with my sorority sisters.
I did get some stitching done with all that was going on this past week
