Weekly update

Hope all of you are having a good weekend. Here in the states we are having a 3 day weekend as Monday is Labor Day Holiday for us. My daughter is out of town, so I am house sitting and enjoying my 2 grandchildren. Christopher started his senior year in high school and Anna started 7th grade, junior high this past monday. Here are their first day of school pictures as they left for school.

Also, got my Texas Map backed and only need to slipstitch the top and add the rope hanger.
It will be Christopher's birthday gift as he turns 18 on Monday.

I have been stitched a little this past week and here are pictures of my WIPs progress.
Alphabet Sampling-With My aNeedle
Snowman and friends Christmas Stocking-Gold Collection Kit
 Percy Pig-Mill Hill Kit(Christmas gift)
 Lilly Nora Corbet
Garden of Joy -Friendly Stitchers SAL 2009
added a vase of Lazy Dairies
Halloween House-U Michaels SAL with Linda at http://stitchingwithmyfurbabies and others
 Red Birds-Marie Barker JCS nov/dec 2011
I got a good report from the Doctor's last Monday. The toe/foot is healing great and now I can wear shoes, mostly sneakers for a few weeks. After 10-1/2 weeks, I am driving again. It is good to be able to come and go when I want or need to and not have to ask someone to drive me.
Happy Holiday and have a great week.

Wonderful stitching as usual. Love the way the Halloween house is stitching up.

Beautiful stitching. Glad you're healing well. I know the feeling of having to ask someone else to take you somewhere and I hated it.
