Happy Memorial Day weekend

Hope all of you are enjoying the Memorial Day weekend and remembering all of our veternans
and those still helping keep our country free. I did get a little stitching done this past week. My daughter has gone to Colorado and I am house sitting and making sure the two grandkids get where they need to be on time. Here are pictures of my past week of stitching on WIPs:

Weekly Updated Blog

What a busy week. I finished up a picture album for our past president in my sorority(Beta Sigma Phi) chapter and still managed to stitch at least 1 strand of thread in my WIP rotation pieces. Also, will show you a couple of pictures from my Staycation over the weekend. Eleven ladies from my sorority chapter spent the weekend at the home of one. We visited, ate, had a little wine and enjoyed her pool, ate, watched movies, shopped and had lunch out on Sat, and then ate and talked somemore. You get the idea, we like to talk and eat.
Then I got to see my grandson, Christopher, enjoyed a prom at a neighboring school. My favorite pictures are the one that could only be taken in TEXAS USA, with a horse and on a John Deere Tractor.

Happy Mother's Day and updated blog

A great big wish for all the Mother's out there. I spent the day with my daughter, Deanna, and grandkids, Christopher and Anna. It was a real nice day. She grilled pork chops, and added potatoes and beans. Great Day.
Friday night we had bad rains storms come our way, with hail, tornadoes and flooding. My apartment complex and the surrounding neighborhood was flooded after 7-9 inches of rain. Thank goodness, the sun came out on Saturday and dried up everything. I got water in the back floorboard of my car, as well as many other neighbors. What a night.
