Weekly update

Good morning all my stitching and quilting and crafting friends. Our weather here in my part of Texas is having a cold front. 30s,40s at night and 50s,60s during the day. The sun comes out and makes the days really nice. I work as a tax preparer for a CPA, so my job is now getting busy, so my stitching is my way of relaxing in the evenings. Tuesday evenings finds me at my LNS(Creative Stitchery) stitching with other stitches, enjoying an evening of wine and stitching. This past week I stitched on a model, and a piece that a lady has commissioned me to finish. She started it 32 years ago and has now decided to have someone finish it for her. Also, stitched on several of my WIPs in my rotation. Also, I have joined a few others ladies on Fridays stitching a SAL The Halloween. Monday evenings is still Lizzie Kate day and my ABCs of Aging Artfully is getting there. Here are pictures of my progress last week.
The ABCs of Aging Artfully-Lizzie*Kate
 Christmas Animals-Heaven and Earth
Garden of Joy -Friendly Stitches Group SAL 2009-23 of 52 squares stitched
Halloween House-Ursula Michael SAL with 8 other stitches,4th week progress.
RED BIRDS-design by Marie Barber-Just Cross Stitch Nov/Dec 2011 issue
Have a great week of stitching and enjoy life to its fullest.

Those temperatures sound really nice, I am in Wyoming where the wind blows fiercely and it is much chillier! Enjoy all your pieces, they are looking lovely!

Your stitching is wonderful. I really love your start on the Red Birds. Is that a recent magazine? Also you mentioned that you were stitching on a project someone else started? How is that working for you? I'm asking because I have a project that my husband's Great Aunt started but she died before she finished it. I would love to finish it for my husband but I'm a little intimidated for some reason.

Your needles are certainly flying. I haven't seen Garden of Joy before, it is so pretty, I love the colours and delicacy of the sampler.

As always Joyce, everything looks fabulous. I guess you didn't work on your needle book this week. The alphabet one. I've been watching your progress on that with awe. (I don't like to stitch the alphabet at all, so for you to do it over and over is amazing to me!!) Grats on all the progress. I know someone who was gonna do the HH SAL too, but she dropped out. Yours is looking good. Keep up the good work!!
