Weekly Update

I was on the road coming home on Sunday, so was to tired to post last evening when I did get home.
I went to my 92 year old Aunts graveside services on Saturday in Killeen, Texas. She was the last child in my Mother's family(5 girls and 1 boy) to pass. Auntie never had children, so her 5 nieces and 1 nephew were her children. We spent many summer with her and Unc. We cousins had a good time later on remembering good time spent growing up with her. I am now the oldest in our family tree on both my Father's and Mother's tree.
I didn't get to stitch Sat or Sunday, hopefully, I will have more time to stitch this week. Here are pictures of my WIP pieces that I did stitch on last week:
The Alphebet Samplings Book-With My Needle
 ABCs of Aging Artfully-Lizzie Kat
 November Snowman-Vermillion
 The Halloween House-U Michaels
Myself and my cousins. We are the new generation of my Mother's family-the Storys.
Happy stitching,

You are making great progress on your L*K piece! I'm sorry about your aunt. It sounds like you have wonderful memories of her, though!

I am so sorry to hear about your aunt. But it's nice that you got to spend time with your cousins, no matter the circumstance. As always your stitching is lovely! Thanks for sharing!

Sure enjoy your blogs. I too am 72 and wish I had the energy that you exude. I can hardly believe your projects for this year. I have quite a list, although I have a lot more in the background that are UFOs or want-to's but don't dare list them all or I'll lose my desire to do anything.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. We just lost my partner's brother this week. He was a few days short of his 85th birthday. I always called him the Energizer Bunny because he was always going. He went out quickly which was a blessing, I believe.

Keep up the good work. I have finished Florentine Fancy this year, an EAC course. I'm now doing a UFO called Seymour Snow by Lorri Birmingham, and I've just got some beads together to knit a purse called "Sylvia".

All the best, June in NB, Canada

I'm sorry to hear of your aunt's passing. It's so sad when we lose a family member. Have said a prayer for your family. Love the family piccy too. You don't look like the oldest anything, lol. And grats on your progress this week. Hopefully, you'll get more stitching time this week.
