Weekly Update and Pay It Forward Recipients

Good morning from Texas. No snow, just cold(in the 30s and 40s at night and 50s and 60s during the day. Good weather for staying inside and stitching, right.
The two stitchers I picked for my round of Pay It Forward are: Laurita Hall and Lynda.
If you would send me an email( joycefrank@sbcglobal.net) with your snail mail address I will get your package out to you. Now you get to play the Pay It Forward that was started by Karen at http://www.karenaz.blogspot.com and I won it from Maggee at http://stitchingdevotee.blogspot.com
They both have great blogs, check them out.
My past week included my birthday on Wednesday, which I am now 72, wow. I had a lot of birthday wishes, which I enjoyed a lot. Then on Friday evening, my daughter, Deanna and grandson, Christopher, granddaughter, Anna, Niece, Kim, Nephew, Steven, his wife Cassie, Lane and Logan(Cassie's boys) and Trey(christopher's friend) helped me celebrate with a dinner at an Italian Grill. What fun. I love birthdays.
I did manage to stitch a little this past work on several pieces including a model and a gift.
Also, completed my first 2012 piece. The February Violets by Ellen Maurer Stroh, finished January last year.
Here are my WIPs progress for the week.
The Alphabet Samplings Book-Ellen Chester/With My Needle, stitching on page 6 of 16
Monday Lizzie Kate stitching-ABCs of Aging Artfully
February Violets(Flower series) by Ellen Maurer Stroh
 January Carnations stitched last year.
Friday Sal - Halloween House by Ursula Michael (Check out linda's blog http://stitchingwithmyfurbabies.blogspot.com for the other stitchers progress
Stitching on the flowers in the center of Red Birds-JCS nov/dec
Also, received my give a way prize from Kate in Australia(a Joan Elliott book and two pieces of fabric by Stitches and Spice. Yes, I have already earmarked several patterns in the book that I would love to stitch.
Have a wonderful week , stay warm and stitch a lot.

Happy birthday! Your stitching is SO beautiful! Makes me feel silly, wearing my clip-on magnifying lenses and I'm stitching with only 50-year-old eyes. :( Keep up the fantastic handwork! ~ Lorraine
