Feb. 7, 2011

What a weekend, but not as back as some parts of the country. Here south of Houston, TEXAs, we had a real day of ice. There were over 800 accidents in the Houston area on Friday. I worked on Thursday morning and then staying in the rest of the day and Friday. Sat , the ice melted and Sunday was a nice day. We now have a nother ice day coming on Wed.

I did a lot of reading and stitching. I worked on Brooks Winter House and the rest of the week stitched on a Turkey tablerunner, an Easter ornament, added a snowflake square to my Garden of Joy, finished the "c" Brooks except for the Krenik thread and completed a Cong and Thinking of You Greeting Card and a Yellowrose booksmark. I am the rosebud person in my chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and the Yellowrose is our flower. I have crossstitched a few Yellowroses in the past year.
