Weekly Update

Another good week for stitching. Completed one and made progress on several of my WIPs in my 15 item rotation. School has started for most. My granddaughter, Anna, has started her sophomore year in high school. She is growing up, becoming a neat young adult. She will start Texas High School Rodeo in a couple of weeks. The two rodeo pictures are from the summer series)It is fun watching my two grandkids grow up. Christopher will turn 21 Sept 3.(birthday pictures next week)

Here are my stitching for the past week

Will make a small pillow with it.

  1.     June  Weather Poems-Sue Cook-Britian’s #1 Crossstitch Magazine-2000 issues

 Planning to make a birthday calendar with this series. Only have 8 to go.

1.     “Quarker Birds” Ornament -#3 - 2012 Ornament Series-Littlehouse Needleworks

  1.     “Remember The Alamo” ornament –The 12 Days of Texas Christmas Series -Redbird Designs.

1.     Snowman and Friends Christmas Stocking – Gold Collection Kit

  1.     Texas Signs of Spring #2 – Redbird Designs

I will start stitching on this one a little every day now as it is a birthday gift for my great niece Oct.

  1.     “Toy Store” #4 Hometown Holiday Series-Little House Needworks

This is a real neat series. This is my second one in the series.

Weekly Update

A good week to stay inside and stitch with all the rain we are having. The rain has even lower our temp to the 80s, which is a cool front for us. Here is the completed Doodle design I put o a greeting card and progress on the WIPs I stitched on this past week

I had computer problems so didn't post an update last week. This is my progress for July 25 thru Aug 8th.


I did finish another Little House Needlworks ornament to add to my collection of Christmas gifts.


I also enjoyed watching my granddaughter compete In the final rodeo for the summer. She placed 6th in poles and 12th in Barrels. Great Job.
