Weekly Update

Summer is here in Texas. My week was fun as I was able to watch my granddaughter in two summer rodeos. Monday and Saturday night. Also, stitched and made progress on several of my WIPS.

I just spent the last 4 days in Gonzales, Texas watching my Granddaughter ride and compete in the finals of the 2015 YRA youth rodeo. There were over 200 youth taking part and it is always fun to watch the youth. Anna competes in Poles, Barrels, and straight barrels, didn't make the top 10, but did really good. Here are some of my favorite pictures..

Weekly update

Here we go again. I live north of Galveston and south of Houston, right in the path of the new storm.
It is expected to come ashore on Tuesday with 10 to 15 inches of rain for us. Say a prayer for us.
I did a go amount of stitching on WIPs this last week. Here are my pictures
This is a Sunset Kit called Sleepy Kittens. A Friend's Mother passed while stitching this kit. I have been asked to finish it. Of course I said OK. I have a little more of the backstitching done and a little of the first kitten. The top picture is what it looked like when I got it.

Weekly Update

What a week of sports, Houston Astros, Basketball Finals, tennis, and the Belmont Park Horse Race.
American Pharoah is a beautiful horse and a great one now. Also, stitched on several WIPs making progress on them. Finished June Graduate Snowman-Vermillion, just need t mat and rub and buff the frame for it and hang with the other stitched ones. Here is what I stitched on this last week
