Weekly Update

We had a nice Sunday. Enjoyed watching the last day of Olympics and stitch the day away.
I finished stitching the January Calendar Girl-Littlehouse Needleworks. This is the new series and I plan to do the series. I was also able to get the pillowtop finished and now need to press and fill it.
This is for my cowgirl granddaughter, who picked the fabric for the pillow.

Weekly Update

We are having a nice Sunday. Spring will be here soon. Enjoying the Olympic Winter Games and stitching this afternoon. My new picture at the top of my blog was made at my 74th birthday party hostess by my daughter and grandkids.
I made a little progress on several of my WIPs this week. Also sent and received an exchange with the Christmas Ornament Exchange group. I sent Ann the "Joy" ornament and she sent me a gingerbread Joy ornament. It is a sweet ornament.

Weekly Update

Since Winter still is around, I hope all of you are staying warm. Our weather has been cold for my spot of Texas. It has been in the 30s and 40s all week. Hopefully Spring is just around the corner.
I had a fun week. Saturday morning was our monthly Stitch in. The lady that opens her home since our LNS closed is great. There were an overload of stitches this past Sat., a total of 12. We took over her home needless to say. There was a lot of stitching, show and tell and chatting. Already looking forward to next month. Saturday, I went to my sorority's Valentine dance and had fun.
I also stitching and made some progress on a number of my WIPs. Also finished March 2013 Doodle by Blueladie designs. I am turning them into greeting cards.

Also, enjoyed watching my Granddaughter compete in another Youth Rodeo Association Rodeo in Edna , TX. She made the finals in Poles and was 6th in finals.
